This year’s LSFF will be held October 10-14, 2013 in Prague, Czech Republic.LSFF is the international festival of documentary films on food, agricultural sciences and sustainable development. The goal of the festival is also to use audiovisual material for education and popularization of science in an entertaining manner.Produced by Merit Jensen Carr and directed by Erna Buffie, “Smarty Plants: Uncovering the Secret World of Plant Behaviour” follows University of Alberta scientist and ecologist JC Cahill on a spectacular visual journey into the hidden lives of plants.
